In point of fact, there were at least two "original" Arachne lists
open to discusion--one was the general list and there was also another
"development list". There was also a "chat" room facility. There was
also an "Arachne Announcement list" at one point that sent out alerts
when new versions were posted.

In addition, the "Archne Development Team", consisting of Glenn McCorkle,
Clarence Verge and the others, functioned in private with their own
channels of communication.

There was a lot of stuff going on under the surface. Now it's
mostly out in the open. But who knows what teams or projects might
get cooked up.

I say: Let a hundred flowers bloom!
