Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!
Kevin,
The Yahoo list is primarily for developers (we *must* have a dedicated,
focused list, free of chatter, otherwise we will never get anywhere).
As for getting messages delivered to your inbox, you *have* that
option too (I certainly do!). For anyone interested in all the different
features and options of Yahoo Groups, just visit the group home
page and click on the Help link (you may as well also check out the
Guidelines link) at the bottom of the page (Yeah, RTFM. That's not
directed at any individual in particular, but sorry, this crap has just
gone on far too long).
BTW, if Arachne doesn't work for you as it does for me, it seems
that DOS ports of Lynx are fine with Yahoo Groups, so you don't
need to resort to Windoze or Linux (lest you be contaminated!) to
configure your Yahoo Groups account (if you choose to join up).
Do a Google search or try "www.fdisk.com".
Joe.
