I am currently reading a book called "The Dream Machine: J. C. R.
Licklider and the Revolution that made Computing Personal" by M.
Mitchell Waldrop and have just read the part where Ken Thompson
and Dennis Ritchie invented Unix.

If any of our listees see this book, they should grab it. It is
absolutely fascinating!
