Is it possible with an XP machine to boot to the floppy drive in DOS, and
have the boot disk to create a ram drive, and then load Arachne into the
ram drive by use of floppies and to run Arachne in the ram drive?

Of course one would not be able to access an XP machine's hard drive by
booting to DOS with a floppy drive, but I would think that one should be
able to create a ram drive in an XP machine where one could run DOS
programs in real DOS mode.

I cannot investigate this on my own because I don't have access to an XP
machine whose owner will let me experiment with it.
