After some experiments with a PCMCIA ethernet card in one of the slots
on my laptop computer I became doubts about the card in the XP-machine
as the machine no longer would connect to the internet.
So I interchanged the card (RTL8139) with the same card in the Win98/DOS
machine... and I had to buy a new one. The original one was about 6
months 'old'.
All OK now but still no network with the laptop, a Toshiba Tecra 8000.
There is a infra-red out/input at the bach for networking but how to
connect that light to the router/modem ?
Any ideas??
