Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!

Udo,
What is that quote about "unconfirmed claims"?
That is not anything that I said so please don't imply
such. Here is a quote of mine from my last post:

" You obviously didn't understand my
post because I said that I just now installed
the latest Arachne distribution from glennmcc's
site over my existing installation and the resulting
installation was not entirely correct. Arachne does
not use the existing configuration files BUT it
writes new files using SOME of the info found in
the existing config files. The new config files did
not have all my settings from the old files."

As you can see from my quote, I did try and I have
tried many times before. It seems you either don't
read my posts or else you don't understand the
English I'm using.

As an example the new arachne.cfg did not have
the same connection information as the original
installed arachne.cfg.

I am glad your procedures work for you but don't
make fun of us that don't agree with your procedures.
Please enjoy using Arachne any way you wish! <ggg>

And maybe you should mind that not everybody
works with a rocket powered machine like yours! <ggg>

Eric
