Yes, I use Arachne every day for my email and for following links
from my email. I tend to use Firefox on a faster computer for most
of my web browsing, though, because of frustration with javascript
and secure connections.

That's a real problem you bring up--the evolution of hardware away
from the old "standard equipment" that DOS was designed for. There is
still lots of used equipment available, but it's getting harder to find
as we all know.
