Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club! Hi Eric, I won't comment on what you said above, since I already said it in my previous post. :-) > BTW, if someone wants a bloated program > that tries to anticipate and handle every contingency > possible when doing an installation over an > existing installation, there are many available. <ggg> I do not think of Arachne as a bloated program; it probably rather suffers from the opposite problem. ;-) But I think any program should at least be able to install over its previous versions without problems. Until recently, Arachne was not, and that was a bug that deserved fixing. Now it is gone, and so you all can stop crying "The wolf! The wolf!". ;-) > However, I have yet to find even a bloated program > that works flawlessly and can handle every contingency! <ggg> > And none of them fit on a single floppy. <ggg> > And none of them run decently on my 386 or 486 or > even my older pentium. <ggg> I really do not care whether a program fits on a single floppy as long as it fits on a single hard disk. ;-) So long, Udo -- The DR-DOS/OpenDOS Enhancement Project - http://www.drdosprojects.de -- This mail was written by a user of The Arachne Browser - http://arachne.cz/ Arachne at FreeLists -- Arachne, The Premier GPL Web Browser/Suite for DOS --
