   Do you actually want a broadband account ? 

   As a fellow Aussie, I can advise that BigPond is not the way to go, 
unless you have more money than sense.

   There are much cheaper options, even in Oz. 
Even cheaper than the one I use. Depends on what download limits you can
live with. e.g. I run at 3 - 4 GB per month for less than Aus$40 per month.
