Try ebay search.   Ebay has all kinds of computers and computer gizmos,
some new and some used, and even some really old obsolete computer
stuff, new old stock, still in the box and in the original factory 
shrink wrap.  Sometimes you can get the new old stock merchandise dirt
cheap.  As for many of the serial to usb converters, they are still in
current production.
