Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!
I'am a bit wondering...
I use networking in DOS since Arachne is connected to the internet via
the router and the build-in modem.
The XP-computer is also connected via the same router (different port)
and can connect to internet (modem) and to the DOS-computer in Win98
mode.
Why can't Arachne connect to the XP-machine by the same cables and
router? All are using TCP\IP protocol.
Or, the other way around: why can't the XP-computer not connect to
Arachne? But to Win98 without any problem?
Regards, Bastiaan

I did google that one... but no results that did give any licht to the
question what is wrong with the networking in DOS.
I'am becomming aware of Greg Mayman's problems... but not a sign of the
solution.
