I have found the same trouble on some sites, mainly where secure
HTML or JavaScript are involved.

But I still use Arachne as my main browser, as it works with
almost all the sites I need or want to access.

I would guess I have had to resort to Windoze-based browsers on
no more than four occassions in the last six months with sites
that I really needed to access for services that I couldn't get
to by other than the internet.

Maybe that's because I don't do online banking or any such stuff.

Frankly, I'm not at all satisfied that the secure access is as
secure as they claim.

That's why Udo suggested that the development should split into two
paths, with the minimalist line being separately catered for.

I still have a couple of 8086 machines stored away, each with dual 360k
floppies. One has Hercules video, the other has CGA.

Anyone interested can have them for the cost of the freight <GGG>
