It is almost like the vintage car fraternity. They love their vintage
cars, they love driving them, but for day-to-day use they fall back on
their modern cars with auto trans, a/c and cruise control.

Doesn't it strike you that some of these DOS developers are only doing
it for the fun, and have no intention that DOS should ever become their
operating system of choice?
