Grab a copy of the current security.cfg from my site and you'll no longer have such problems when grabbing APMs from any of these 4 'trusted sites'. http://browser.arachne.cz/apm/ http://home.arachne.cz/apm/ http://www.multimediaware.com/qv/ http://www.cisnet.com/glennmcc/apm/ _______________________________________________________________________ As far as I am aware.... those are the only 4 sites correctly setup to send APMs with the correct content-type of "application/x-arachne-package" All other sites that I know of will send APMs as text/plain and consequently will not be processed for installation on-the-spot. They must 1st be saved to disk and then can be installed by linking to the saved file within Arachne. _______________________________________________________________________ http://www.cisnet.com/glennmcc/apm/security.cfg.txt (.txt extension used added so it won't cause problems during downloads) Save it into your arachne_main directory as simply security.cfg -- Glenn http://www.delorie.com/listserv/mime/ http://www.cisnet.com/glennmcc/ http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.table.html Arachne at FreeLists -- Arachne, The Premier GPL Web Browser/Suite for DOS --
