I love editor talks! While we're here, I'll mention my favourite, The
Hybrid Editor XE. http://www.geocities.jp/sakachin2/index.htm
It happens to run on lots of platforms including DOS. Does that utf 8
encoding in DOS, too. Apparently there aren't that many DOS editors
that do that. I use it in freedos and it does a nice job.

Someone who has archaic tendencies, or runs with those who do <GGGGG>,
was looking for an editor to use in Linux. Well, I finally got an
answer (you know how "coders" are, always too busy) and thought I'd
share, even if not sure where it was needed/worthy of consideration.

I'm way behind on (it seems) everything. Sorry about that.
The site is surely in need of an overhaul. But I'd rather code :-)
I have a Linux version that is quite usable by me, and even by some of
our testers. Others think it is still a bit raw yet.
Thanks for the interest!

Subject: TSE (qEdit) for Linux?
I see the site has had little maintenance since 2005 ... the only thing
which appears to be current is the copyright advisory.
I've been told that a version of TSE was being worked on for Linux
platform. If so, what is status? And is there maybe a new website I
missed finding, one that is current?
thx
