This message is comming to you with 1.93 and ADSL.
The problem I had with the wizard is that although I typed in the
IP_Address 192.168.1.65 the IP_Address is blank when I leave the setup
and in arachne.cfg the IP_Address is marked as BOOTP.

The only solution is to enter the IP_Address in arachne.cfg and not
touch again the wizard.!!

Yes, I still have a problem in opening the "dial-in ADSL connection" that
has to be done with a JavaScript protocol :-((

NOW... with all versions of Arachne... I first have to connect with
windows with either this computer (Win98) or the other one on the local
network (WinXP). This is rather clumsy...

This session:
First start up Win98 and connect.
Second: close down windows (still connected)
Start up the computer in DOS
Start Arachne, whatever version if configured for ADSL

Disconnecting: go to windows again and disconnect OR switch off the
modem :-)

BTW: this procedure for connecting Arachne is much faster than getting
my mail with firefox on the XP machine.
