Jeff,
Tiny looks interesting, but it also seems the author reinvented the wheel, DOS
programs for remotely controlling other PCs have been around for years. They
also left out the most prominent TCP/IP stack for DOS, WATTCP, opting for the
commercial PC/TCP, of which FTPs is very difficult to find. I used an old PC
Magazine free program called Remote Control for DOS, albeit only over modem and
direct dial. Delrina Freecomm Lite had a host mode. Anyway, there is also a
DOS telnet daemon in the WATTCP apps.
As for original thread, I think it was Baastian's method of telnetting into his
home router, which does accept telnet commands, to send the connect and
disconnect data to his ISP...that's been the only method he's been able to get
DOS apps online with his ISP.

I've lost the start of this thread, so not quite sure what is to be
achieved by remote control of a DOS PC. However, I came across this
the other day.

Haven't had a chance to test it yet. Does require the controlling PC
to be capable of running Java.
