Nope, it's one of the DISadvantages of people subscribing to the list in
Digest form.

The stuff is mailed out like a daily newspaper, and like a newspaper its
header is the name of the thing and the volume and edition number.

Perhaps the problem lies with those of us who don't edit the Subject
line when we write a reply. I rarely occurs to me that I really should
do this, and I think its the same with many (most?) of the posters here.

One problem is that it seems logical to rewrite the Subject if
you're going to do it at all, BEFORE you select the external
editor to edit the text to write your reply.

Then when you come back from the external editor, you click on
"Send Mail NOW!" or "Save to Outbox" without looking at the
Subject line again.

And unfortunately with the way Arachne works, the changes you've
made to the fields at the top of the Compose Message page have
been LOST!

This might be another thing to look at when the gurus get around
to fixing the internal editor.

Then I guess you've been missing a lot of the messages.
