Ahhh...
No, I'm not desiring to turn this into a Tweaking Win9X
list...those exist already.  So...if anyone on the list wants 
a Win9X tip, request in form of personal email...my address

ps---sometimes I feel EXACTLY the same way about other
operating systems!  We've had a long discussion about 
Linux going on lately as well as Windows...maybe it's time
Linux went offlist as well.  I'm currently not using Linux at home...
still have the installation CD for Slackware 7, but the more I 
look at FreeBSD, the more attractive it is becoming.  Besides,
I like their little mascot better than a penguin...little horny devil!!
