On my computer (and I suspect on all of them) QEDIT displays whatever
character set the DOS is using.
I am running on MS-DOS 6.22 which has only 256 characters in the set.
Your QEDIT that uses a 437 character set must be running on some other
operating system than mine.
But the thing I don't understand is why there is a difference in Arachne
between reading messages and editing them with the internal message
editor.
Since in both cases the characters are different from the DOS's
character set, they must both be internal to Arachne.
So why the difference?
