My packet driver is installed all the time, installed in autoexec.bat.
It connects my computer to the router but not to the internet.

Connection to the internet is made by sending commands by telnet.exe to
the router that "dials in" with the build in modem.

So... an installed packet driver does not always mean Arachne is
connected to the internet.
