There you need: 'if exist ppp.log del ppp.log'.
Remember, as long as that file exists, the timer ticks.

Strange. Please show me exactly what you have in your arachne.cfg
for that keyword.

Ah ... wait, I think I forgot:

'Connect call [batchfile.bat]'

You need the 'call' in there, or arachne won't restart.
If you Alt+D and you want to see what happens, find the file 'external.log'
it will show you exactly what happens.
