**** D%$#! It still gave the timeout error.

Does it also explain why  http://192.168.1.100/index.htm  didn't work?

In LeapFTP the username and password fields are grayed out -- they won't
accept an input.

**** That was because I hadn't unchecked the "Anonymous" box. I tried
**** again, entered username, password, address in the appropriate boxes
**** then hit enter and.... it timed out again :((((

I'm going to have to go easy on replying immediately after each test; so
far it is costing me a heap for local call connections (yes, they are
NOT free in Aus).
