I am using 640X480 > resolution. I think the area for composing the text is what is left over after everything else has been allocated a place on the screen. When I switch to 640x480, I get only two lines in the message text box if I F5 to the format with the largest button bar, but there are 8 lines if I use the smaller two line button bar I usually have. But in any of the F5 formats, I always get 4 lines in the e-dress box.
