[arachne] Problems with 1.87

I'm having two problems with 1.87.
1. Impossible to to compose email as the editing space does
not get displayed. It's just not there!
2. Impossible to save downloads. I get an error message flashed
by after the download ends concerning an environment problem and
then I get a text display showing what's inside the downloaded
zip file. This never happened before.
Maybe I'll just dump this install of 1.87 and start over with
your new "bugfixed" version.
