Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!
Hi Greg M.,
There are as many ways to
perform this task as there are list members...
and probably more....I was just trying to
describe one way. It sounds complicated when
you have to describe step by step on screen....
but it is really very logical and simple and pretty
much fool-proof in practice. If one uses an editor
that lists the files and lets one choose a file by
clicking on it then one only has to remember the
last 2-3 numbers of the tbs file name most of
the time. By loading the tbs file into the editor
then one can edit the header and the text body
at the same time if need be and when the file
is saved it is total and complete and ready to
send if no errors were made by the person
doing the editing.
Of course, if one has the external editor button
working properly then all of the above is not
necessary......but.....Brian's description leads me
to believe that his external editor button is not
working properly so I tried to describe in step by
step fashion my interpretation of Sam H.'s email.
I personally, usually just use the internal editor. <ggggg>
Regards,
Eric
