Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!
Developers presumably enjoy developing and/or the end result.
Is there anyone out there who enjoys creating Web Sites, not just some
simple html but maybe server-side scripting and database access? If so
please read on.
There has been much discussion about: which os's should be supported;
how the lists should be used; who has the right to do what; if/how
things should be controlled. And we haven't yet reached the difficult
area of which changes should go in a particular release.
It seems fair (and is inescapable) that a single, or group of
developers can include any mod they wish or veto any they dislike.
Nevertheless they are likely to give some consideration to what the
user community would like to see. If the community were always in
agreement, this would be easy, but....
So the idea. A web site with access to the "who" list of users and to
a 2dolist of possible changes. Users whold be able to cast a single
vote either for or againt each 2do item. The current status of the
polls would be clearly visible to anyone interested.
This would not prevent constructive discussion on the lists about
changes.
