Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!
Hi Sam E.,
......................It's hard to avoid when some foolish
youngsters leave 2 black plastic 3ft. ramps in
the middle of a public sidewalk on a main
thoroughfare over night. They were virtually
invisible despite the full moon and the bright street
lights. I never knew what hit me untill I after it was
all over. It was like running into a clear plateglass
window that you didn't know was in your path. The
helmet really saved me from serious head injury.
A little more face protection would have been nice
to have had.
I've been over the handlebars many times and
never seriously hurt myself. That was the first time
however with a helmet on.
It's because I have so much experience riding
a 2 wheel vehicle that I don't own a motorcycle.
