I normally just ignore O/T threads, but for a
change, I thought I'd throw in my 2c here ...

Now, as I understand it, the quote was
"with man's voice", not "with a man's voice".
They're not the same thing.

Some of the attributions of gender might have been lost due to errors in
translation.  Even the fundamentalists (i.e., those who interpret the
Bible "literally") will concede that there are some errors in translation.
