Brian,
Lenova only purchased the ThinkPad rights, the hardware, TBOMK.  The OS and 
software are still IP of the copyright holders, the OS most used is MS Windows. 
 PC-DOS remains property of IBM.  There are other CLI DOSs that have been 
released, OpenDOS comes to mind.

re UD0 MSDOS HAS  NOT BEEN OPEN SOURCED.
Mind you, PCDOS7-200 is a much better op sys than MSDOS.  I wonder if
Lenovo could be pursuaded to make PCDOS7 open source software?
