I usually delete the source code directory after I have installed
something.

Just checked the man page on chroot; this seems to do something
different than add another root partition...

And some people prefer switching to another drive by just typing e:

Yes, that is also the reason why I added DOSLinux to my system - I
wanted to learn something about the OS that others were talking about.
And, of course, I wanted to see what Wine looked like in its native
environment, so I could decide whether it was worth to continue to work
on a DOS port.

But IMO, there should be no need to have more than one OS, and if I
would have to choose one, I would use only DOS. I am not happy with
having to run Linux for the purposes I need it for, and I cannot say I
am enjoying the Linux experience. That, of course, is due to the fact
that I have already been using DR-DOS before, so I always compare every
other OS to it.

It is a replacement for certain files in the standard DR-DOS
distributions, and currently only targeted at users who know DR-DOS.
Someone was working on a live CD with an installer, but he has vanished
without a trace.

Well, the key word is "enhancement", so you can bet that I will try to
improve it. :-)
