Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club! Update: The bug definitely seems to be related to the exact position within the html file. The evidence is: - Only one of the occurrences of is affected. - Even minor mods to the file anywhere before the offending position are likely to mask the fault. - Large mods later in the file have had no effect. - Adding a single space immediately before, masks the fault. Then deleting a single character from text higher up restores the fault. Sounds to me like a buffering or memory corruption problem? If only I was into Arachne programming it would be an interesting exercise.
