Never mind, I did a global search and found 4 or 5 such links. Fixed.

Why would you press Alt+D anyway? I used to have a guard against
Alt+D when you are already connected, but Eric was of the opinion
that I should take it out. My view is that it should be there, since
there can be no reason to dial when you are already connected.

Yes, no reason not to have your own connect.bat, If you add:
echo online > ppp.log
... then the timer should work, let me know if it doesn't.

Alt+D just calls connect.bat, whatever you have in there is fine
if it works for you. Alt+H just calls hangup.bat, again, you
can do what you want. As they come, they assume lsppp.exe for
connection, but in your case, you need to make changes.
You can test it all from the comand line:
connect.bat should load your driver and create ppp.log
hangup.bat should unload the driver and delete ppp.log
I'd just copy your discon.bat to hangup.bat and it should all be
fine.

But why not have 'Connect [bastiaan's connect.bat]'?
You don't nead any special method, I don't think.
