Hi Udo, I am very sorry to hear of all these troubles you are having with this install. Since you have only 24 files in \arachne_main\system And no files at-all in any of the subdirs... it sounds to me like you got only a partial download of the ZIP file or perhaps it is corrupt. The file size of the ZIP should be... 1,280,148 bytes And it should contain .... a190gpll.exe 1,304,757 bytes If those are the files you have.... the next possibility is that the drive on which you are installing has run out of space. If that is the case, then you are 100% correct... there is a bug in the installer. The installer is supposed to check the available space on the drive you installing to and abort the install with an error message letting you know that there is not enough space. To test the 'overwrite' capabilities of v1.90JG, I just did a fresh install of v1.90JG over-top-of my experimental v1.91 Before the install... http://www.cisnet.com/glennmcc/old.txt After the install.... http://www.cisnet.com/glennmcc/new.txt I will now do another test by attempting to install to a drive with too little space available. L: is a 100mb RamDrive so I'll copy enough largee files from one of my hard drives over to the RamDrive to eat-up about 97 or 98mb BRB ______ Seems to be working OK......... ************** Note to those who might be upgrading *************** | If you are upgrading an existing installation, existing files | | will be over-written with their new counterparts. | | However, existing configuration files will be saved into a | | backup directory.
