Yes, that's exactly what the problem is.
It's not a new bug. It has been with us for many years.
I have been searching through the SRC code for several years now trying
to find the cause and cure.
No success. :(
The work-around is quite simple.
As soon as you noticw the drop in free Xswap memory...
Alt+E, exit<enter>
This shells to DOS and then exits the shell which 'restarts' Arachne
freeing-up that lost Xswap memory.
Rest assured that myself and the other members of the Arachne
development team will continue working on finding the cause and cure.
