I thought that's what he was doing :) Seems it long ago change to the mode of looking for a 'proper' ongoing solution vs anything that works solution. I'd have long ago put the drive into the other pc.

Pardon me, but by now you could have emailed yourself the files from one machine to the other...or maybe use something like pcAnywhere. Just a thought or two..

Now that's using ones brains. If all else fails ...
Interesting how many different ways there are to aproach this problem eh?
And the email solution will be totaly immune to any and all platform/OS
problems.
