Dialup is slow, and with my ISP sending email is even slower.

Usually on up and downloads I can get through about 300 kb a minute.

But uploading mail is MUCH slower, as there are pauses of about a second
after every block of 3 to 5 kbytes. I guess the ISP's mail handler is
not very efficient with big files.

And downloading the mail is no faster than downloading any other file.
