Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!
Hi Greg,
Well unfortunately, it appears that Arachne 1.75, like Arachne 1.73
before it, includes an old, buggy, version of LSPPP - version 0.75.
(There may be other changes in this distribution of Arachne 1.75
that adversely affect your ability to use LSPPP, however I don't have
the time at present to look into this, try LSPPPCFG if necessary).
Due to a bug in its LCP implementation, LSPPP 0.75 will not work
with some ISP's. The last time I checked, that included *your* ISP,
"tpg.com.au". I'd suggest you download and re-install LSPPP 1.01
(and also LSPPPCFG if required), available from my web site.
Hope that helps ...
Joe.
