This is how the link arrived here. But when I tried to reply, Arachne's
mail editor removed the second http and the :// folloing it. I had to
type it back in by hand.

I had no problems clicking on the link in the incoming message while
reading it with Arachne as the initial "http//" was not included in the
highlight.

Other browsers may work differently.
