[arachne] INFORMATION ABOUT FLAVOURS OF DRDOS

I wish a happy new year to all the list members.
And I have a question to ask about DRDOS, which is probably best put to 
UDO Kunt as I gather he knows more about most flavours of DR DOS Than 
most other list members do.

I am considering installing some flavour of DRDOS in my troublesome new 
to me Compaq because I can't seem to make my favorite operating system, 
IBM PCDOS7-2000 work in it - although I have installed PCDOS7-2000 
without installation problems or use problems in half a dozen systems 
ranging from 386-s to pentium 4's.

Basically I would like an informed opinion as to which of the currently 
available DRDOS version might be:
A. Easiest to acquire.
B. Full featured and capable of using most DOS application software 
which is freely and easily available.

C. Simple to install and bug free.
