What is all this talk about? I said that I have *always* installed new
Arachne versions over the old version, and I did not have to re-enter
the relevant data; Arachne simply used the existing config files.

I think some of the people who are participating in this discussion
simply do not know what they are talking about since they never tried it
"the other way". This kind of talk could easily make Arachne appear as
being overly complicated to setup and maintain, so please think before
you talk, lest you scare off people who are interested in it.

If you mention that configuration files are being overwritten, then
please also say which files you refer to.
