The video card in my old 386 only works in 640x480 with 256 colors.
The card is directly supported by Arachne as it is one of the
possibilities listed in the Video set-up section. Not all cards
are directly supported. Some must have their own drivers installed
and those drivers are not included with the Arachne package but must
be gotten elsewhere. 

The whole subject of DOS Video drivers and video cards is complex
as there are many variables possible, particularly with older video
cards with limited amounts of memory.
