[arachne] Fw: failure notice

Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!

Hi folks.

To keep you up to date with what's been happening, here is a message I
sent to Glenn McCorkle.

Glen's suggestion is that we all move over to the arachne@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
list.

I agree, unless someone has a good reason for wanting a second list.

Hi Glenn.

Yesterday I went to coollist's home page and clicked on "Email Us".
I entered the subject and message, and clicked [Send]. I got a screen
saying my message had been forwarded.

Today I received this.

I think coollist is dead and the humans have checked out. It is probably
running on its own inertia.

It looks as though any further attempts to communicate with it would be
futile.

Do you have any suggestions where we could move the ARACHNE4DOS list?

I was subscribed to two lists at coollist.com when they failed a while
ago.

They now appear to have come good.

Can you give us any idea what happened?

The owner of one of the lists said that he found messages were being
uploaded to the list but were not getting out.

Thank you for running a very good service. I do find it a lot more
friendly than another list I am subscribed to at YahooGroups.
