We're working on re-integrating some of the browsing capabilities.  We're not
done yet, so stay tuned.  It boils down to a usability thing and well, we're

I don't follow.  That post, for example, doesn't (yet?) exist.  Please
explain?

The old format (the list/month/number thing) has to go.  It's too difficult to
find things, keep track of a thread, eliminate duplication of data, index
things, and draw in the viewing public.

We'd keep the "old format" around but the duplication of content would be
absurd.
