Sam,
Tomsrtbt's floppy will read NTFS, but I don't think it
can write to it.

A two floppy rescue set, BG-rescue, that can read&write
to NTFS, can be found at
http://www.giannone.eu/rescue/current/
Both are Linux based. Or you can use the five floppy
rescue set you can make in win2k and XP.
If a machine has XP installed tho, it most likely is
capable of booting to a CD, in which case, why not use
a rescue CD? Something like INSERT which will fit on a
50meg 80x60 CD that fits in your wallet, or a 200meg CD
that's still smaller than a floppy, like Feather Linux,
that have a desktop and console, and use an excellent
antivirus for cleaning HDs, NTFS read&write, rescue
utilities, Firefox, full networking and Internet access
and office utilities, email, and change or delete
windows passwords.
No mechnical or magnetic problems like a floppy either.

Question:

If you install WinXP on a FAT32 partition instead of on a
ntfs partition, is it possible to access the "C:" drive after
you boot to a floppy?

In my experience, upon booting to a floppy, I have not been
able to to access the hard drive of a WinXP computer where
WinXP has been installed on a ntfs partition. I don't know
how to do it, but this is not to say that it can't be done.
I don't think it is possible to do that, but I'm not absolutely
sure that it can't be done.

Does anybody here know how to do that?
