It certainly is NOT!
But after a lot of fiddling, I managed to find the right place and set
the IP Address on the XP to 192.168.1.101 and the subnet address to
255.255.255.0 as you suggested.
Now when I open LeapFTP and enter 192.168.1 100 as the address I get a
delay, then "Connection failed (timeout)".
PuTTY also times out when I enter the same address.
It might not be working, but it looks as though I might be just a bit
closer to the answer.
