Aha! Yes, I understand what you are saying! And I can see how it
applies.
Although I'm not sure what you mean by "my router" or how it assigns an
IP address, or how I find out what it is.
As for the rest, I will have to think about what you are saying as a lot
of it doesn't mean much at first reading.
Thanks for the help. I'll let you know how it goes.
Meanwhile, I see that the TCP-LINK driver disk mentions a setup with
NWSERVER, a bit of software I don't have. Googling for it hasn't turned
up any download site in the first 30 or so hits, and I didn't have time
to search further. Perhaps I may need it, perhaps not; I don't know.
