Yup. Done that. Coincidentally, drive G: is a spare partition on my comp
so it is logical to use it.

But I had to load the network card drivers and the packet driver first.

I had to shut down the XP machine and reboot before it would acknowledge
that the LAN was connected.

But running LeapFTP and enterring the address as 192.168.1.100 gave me
"Connection failed (no route to host)" although the network ikon at the
bottom of the screen is on and shows connection at 100 Mb/s.
