I misunderstood what you meant when you said

I executed "rtspkt.com 0x60" and got the header for the routine followed
by this:
Line speed 100 Mbps
Full Duplex
System [345]86 processor, PCI bus, two 8259s
Packet driver software interrupt is 0x60
Interrupt number is 0xB
Input/output port is 0x6000
My Ethernet address is 00:14:78:05:70:FF
Then back to the DOS prompt.
So I opened LeapFTP on the XP, entered 00:14:78:05:70:FF as the address,
and got this:
Connecting to 00, port 21 [#1]
Connection failed (Address not available)
Retrying in 30 seconds
I tried again with . instead of : (that is 00.14.78.05.70.FF) and got
Unable to connect to server 00.14.78.05.70.FF
Using MY_DOS as the address (the name allocated to the DOS comp) I got
Unable to connect to server MY_DOS
Maybe I'm just too old or stupid to see intuitively what is needed.
Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
