I remember downloading Netscape (about 1.3 meg) from the local BBS on a
2400 modem. That had to be done over three days as the whole file
waaaaaay exceeded my daily time allowance. But my sysop was very
co-operative and split the file into three for me. She was lovely lady
like someone else we all know <GGGGG>
And I still have that 2400 modem, in good working order.

You tell 'em, Eldee! You seem to have started a nostalgia session among
us older readers.
Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
